New show on AMC: Dark Winds
Two people inside a trailer home. Bad guy approaches with an AR-15,
and opens fire on the trailer. Within seconds there are literally
HUNDREDS of bullet holes in the trailer. Nobody inside is hit.
A: The gun, as shown, held a standard 30-round magazine
B: If there were a magazine that could hold the number of rounds
implied, the gun would be too heavy to hold and aim easily.
C: Despite the number of rounds supposedly fired, no one in the
trailer is hit.
Obviously the shooter should have waited until those inside exited,
then fired two carefully aimed rounds. That would have accomplished
his mission.
Note that in real life, an AR-15 is a one-shot-per-trigger-press 22
caliber rifle. The holes in the trailer were at least 30 caliber.
Those who are not familiar with real firearms will watch something
like that, and then believe the bullshit that the left spins about
AR-15 rifles.
I will not be watching that show again.
